  4. All of the kitties in this litter are adorable, but I'd quite happily snap Chet up now if I had a house of my own and lived near you.

You always take wonderful photos! Though I guess that's in part to having wonderful lil' models posing for you. :D

  5. Ooh, yet another tabby, just lighter gray (and with at least one white sock).

What a pensive boy he is, gazing into the future as he's lying down. I don't know if it is the light and fuzziness of the photo, but he doesn't seem the have the same (c)a(t)titude than the rest of this brood...

  6. Oh, Chester, little Chet 'me boy. You are definitely the dreamer of bunch, aren't you? Dreaming of snorgles & love and your forever home. What a beautiful young gent'lman you are!

  13. It was a pleasure to make your aquaintance yesterday, Chet! Take care of those purrfect siblings of yours, you handsome boy!

And many YAYs for big kitties finding their forever homes ~ thanks to Val & Venus, PetSmart is practically empty! But never fear, we'll fill it quickly, and find more homes for our loving biggies!

PS ~ sweet Bella found her new forever home over the weekend, along with lots of other shelter kitties. Yay!!

  14. I was AWAY - and to come back and find the Davenports? Well, talk about a treat. I honestly don't see how EACH new cuddle can be as sweet (sweeter?) than the one before! And I get a warm feeling thinking about all those babies in their new forever homes, because I know there are all those people out there with lower blood pressure, adoring companions and improved lives. Just sayin'....

  15. Awwwww! He's named after my Grandpa!!! If only I didn't live in MN I'd be right over to cuddle.

  16. I cannot wait to see all of the Davenports together! Chet is also one handsome fella...with a stellar middle name...that's my dad's name! They all look like quite a sophisticated lot. We'll see what Governess Butterbean has to say about them!

    Purry Hugs,

    Robin

  17. Oh Chet is so cute. He looks like a tabby who took a romp in the flour sack since his markings are so diluted. Too perfect for words.

  18. ah. saving the best for last.
    a lovely muted grey tabby.
    so handsome and regal.
i cant wait to see him swinging from those cute curtains with the little fuzzy balls on them. :)

  19. Edward has more gray, and Chet more beige, is that correct? Both are --well, you already know-- utterly irristabbily darlingoso. Utterly!

  20. Chet, Pleased to make yoour acquaintance, young sir. You are a handsome dilute tabby. By any chance do you have any dilute 'c'attitude to go with it?

I am so jealous of Shana! Getting to actually MEET the Davenports! sigh...

Now my work day can start....

  21. Oh HOORAY! My girl Dale-Harriet is back in the fold. I feel so smug because I got to meet the Davenports before she did, but now I'll share 'cause she's my buddy/sister.

And Chet Davenport looks and sounds just like a pro golfer!

  25. I know another tabby named Chester who is quite the charming fellow. I call him Chesser, as in,

"awwww, lil' baby kitty chesser......does you need a cuddle?"

  26. PUUUUUURRRFECTLY GORGEOUS!!!!!

  27. Hey, Chet. What a big ol' softy you are. Your pastel tabby coloring, your plush fur, your XXL (for Long) eyebrows and whiskers, and you even have a rather dreamy look in your eyes. Everything about you looks soft and inviting. What a special boy you are. I'll bet Charlene is going to adore bathing you.

  28. Oh, what a bundle of softness, along with those bright, curious eyes! Chet is adorable. He looks like he's ready to go from lap to petting to lap again, purring all the time.

I think my computer screen is getting tired of my trying to pet the kittens.

  29. Ooh, he has eyelashes!

  30. What a lovely boy! I have an IBK Chester too. He was found dangling from a fishline in a tree.
He'll be okay with a slight limp and his loving spirit remained untouched. I hope both Chesters find fabulous homes.

  31. Welcome home dale-harriet!! Good to know you were off havin' fun.

I've found doing without the ibkc for a few days when I'm away does have a silver lining... lots'n'lots of meltin' moments when I get back to the computer!

And hello Chet! I've got a Chester, but he's a big brute, not a handsome young man with dreamy eyes like you1 ;-)

  32. I'm starting to think everybody has a Chester! Mine's a tall, gangly ginger-and-white boy and while he is, of course, the most adorable cat in the world, little Chet is running close.
