  1. What amazing pictures! That first one of Virgil should definitely be included in the Pettibone card set.

  6. Of course my favorite is dear little Virgil sitting on the table trying to conjure up a thought while, on the wall behind him is the shadow of, perhaps Renatta (?), sitting in silhouette, surrounded by shadows of leaves and gazing upward. It's like a dream.

  12. Absolutely amazing. Especially the first one. Would it be possible to order a print? It's totally frame-and-hang worthy in my book!

  15. That first one with Virgil... wow, what a great capture of the brothers. That Virgil and his blue eyes.... putty in his hands, I am...

  16. The first one is my favorite. It make me think the kitty is daydreaming of being a tiger in the jungle with the silhouette of the broad leaves and the head looking up. I also agree with nk that it should be included in a card set.

  19. [Darn, this thing cuts long URL's, lets try with better luck this time:]

These are all extremely clever and beautiful photos - I wish I learnt to see the world in this way - but number 2 especially caught my attention for a specific reason: it is like junior version of the cat picture on the roof of "black cat house", art nouveau/jugend building in Riga, the capital of Latvia.

See for yourselves: Black cat closeup

(This one shows you most of the building and less of the cat...)

Obviously, the artist who created the cat in Riga knew his cats...

  22. Way cool!! Laurie, you're as amazing as your kittehs.

And Mari, thanks for the links. That's an awesome building with an even better final (or whatever architectural feature the cat is).
