  1. To be able to lie around like that... That's a relaxed little kitty, making the most of her down time, and the furniture. Sleep tight, Renatta :)

  2. She's pretending to be Charlene Butterbean as she collapses on the back of the sofa with her nose against the window, blue eyes shut. Dream on, tiny and beautiful Renatta, you've got a long way to go!

I can't come up with anything more coherent than that in the face of this cute picture.

  8. my teeth hurt this is so sweet!

Renatta is just showing how fluid a kittens body can be - in those rare moments of repose.

It is impressive how she has draped her back half over the back of the sofa while the front half is on the windowsill, in itty-bitty-kitty-loaf!

And what better role model than Miss Charlene Butterbean, I ask?

    None, I tell you!

  11. I can see that Charlene's used her good taste to get you to arrange the furniture in that very cat-friendly way, Laurie; good the babies learn early how to take advantage!

  12. Oh my gosh, Renatta *is* doing an excellent Charlene impression. We can only guess at how small a space she's actually covering with her adorable itty bitty body. Kinda looks like she's doing a yoga pose.

The new set of pictures on the right (a shot of each Pettibone) is terrific, and Renetta's shows her eyes to wonderful advantage, but I have to say, she just doesn't have the Butterbean's slightly cross-eyed charm.

  13. do you all that have cats notice the little nose prints that happen on a line across your windows? i almost hesitate to wash them off, but i know they will be back in a couple of days.

  14. Nose prints on windows and footprints on tables furballs on carpets and claw marks on (something that rhymes with "tables"),
kibble on counters and water splashed floor..
In spite of all this, my cats I adore!

    Oh well, I tried.

  15. I am loving every bit of these Pettibones. Renatta . . . I can't bear the sweet perfection of this pose. What a sweet baby girl.

  16. Renatta is in the same pose many human kids take watching TV Saturday morning - on the floor, on their tummies. Come to think of it, windows must be some sort of Kitty TV.
    SHE's ADORABLE!

Anne - you've written a great anthem (a few posts back on this thread) for all of us who've been adopted by kitties. Something to rhyme with 'tables' eh? Maybe a slight change to
"...claw marks - no fables!" might work?

  17. Renatta looks very comfy there. She's a little sweetie.
