I Heart Gerald Leland Pickett

Gerald Leland Pickett
I am NOT saying he's my favorite. I would never say that in front of the kittens. But you might just me hear me whisper it if I knew for sure they weren't around. Might, I say.

I will say he's the sweetest, squiggliest , extra toed, tailless kitten I have ever met. How could you not love a kitten that gazes at you like this.

  1. Poignant pouty face! Of course you have your dirty little love secret, Laurie. Besides, it's not as if the other Picketts don't know that you love them, or like they don't get more than enough love too! Go for it!

  3. i want a little kitten sans tailio. it's amazing how, especially on something as cute as a kitten, a "flaw" can end up being a bonus. i bet his lack of tail makes him all the more endearing and cute to watch. and he seems like a total lovebug! i wish i lived in seattle!

  6. I couldn't foster a bunch of kittys and then tell just ONE that he was my favorite. I'd have to tell the whole litter. However, you can sure bet I'd be thinking of my favorite.
Jerry LEEEE, your closeup is darling! I just want to nibble on those ears.

  9. Since the very first pic I saw of Jerry Lee, he has been my favorite Pickett... maybe my favorite IBK ever! I may have to sell my house & move. He has stolen my heart!

"Jerry Lee - my little love bucket!"
    [feels rubbing on leg]
"Uh...what's that, Mr. Cattingham? No, I'm not talking to the computer? Never... you're my fav boy! Of course...always"
[snickles top of Mr. C's head & watches him walk out of the room]
    "Whew!"

  15. Oh that face. And those soulful eyes. Is it my imagination or is our Mr. Pickett missing not just his tail but his right eyebrow whiskers too? And may I ask how many channels he gets with those ears? :)

  16. What a LOVE!

All that energy that went to making a tail went tot he paws and the extra toes!

Celebrate the polydactyls of the world! They are evolving and some can act like they have opposable thumbs!!!

Loves to Mama Beulah, and the IBK household!

  17. Ah, little Gerald Leland, it sure is a burden being a favourite, but there's no need to look so worried. The whole internet loves you and your siblings!

  18. If this was a yearbook, I think he'd win "best eyes" ;-)

  19. WAIT! Extra toes AND tailless! I have one kitty who's is tailless, and another who is a polydactyl, but to have both in one kitty!! I don't know if I could handle that!
