Meet the Picketts

DSC_170.JPG
We're getting closer and closer to having names for all the babies. One thing that we do know for sure is that their last name will be Pickett.

So for now, I present to you, the lovely Beulah Mae Pickett and her precious babes. I'll announce all the baby names once they are decided upon.

  1. I can't wait to meet the Picketts! They look like quite the "blended" family, full of absolutely unique markings and personality!

Welcome to the IBKCs, Beulah Mae and Pickett-ettes!

  2. Picketts! Itty Bitty Picketts!

Is there anything cuter than a nursing Momma Cat? *thud*

Well... I know there is - and Laurie will be sure to capture the unspeakable cutenesses via camera & post them so we all can swoon again & again!

    Yay for Picketts!

  4. Awwwww...awwww...awwwww...

Mama Beulah Mae is nursing the Picketts. She looks quite serene and they are eating their little hearts out. Mama has one paw stretched out over the nearest one and it looks so loving and nurturing.

The Tiny Orange Guy definitely sticks out among the greys and browns. The little calico is a bit buried under her siblings but is still getting her share. Her tail is sticking out and looks like there was a punctuation accident and somebody spilled a tilde on the floor.

  8. What a great description AnneF. Our fellow junkie, Chanter is up to the minute thanks to you. Of course their last name is Pickett, I feel as if we should have known that. The Perfect Picketts. Beulah Mae has her paws full with this healthy mob of beautiful babies. No wonder she's been too worn out to sort out their names with you. Are they related to the West Virginia Picketts, I wonder?

  9. Catnip - that was my first thought! There IS a Wilson in the bunch

Mercy. The Marmy looks like he's the largest of the lot. And the poor little one underneath the crush!

And Miss Beulah! What a great Momma!

  11. Too sweet and adorable! How they have grown :) I still like the name Julius for Mr. Orange Man! Mr. Orange Julius :) Okay, maybe I'm not the best at names, but I love them all!

  14. *giggles* oh, now that's too cute! Somebody spilled a tilda on the floor... alright, I'm calling that one Tilda Pickett until her official name's sorted out. It resonates with me, the literary geek! :)

*cuddles the kittens and Ms. Beulah Mae Momkitty Pickett* Thanks for the description! They sound absolutely darling!

  17. It's probably pretty clear by now that the IBKC doesn't really accept name suggestions... Fitting as they may seem, I'm sure the decisions are based on spending time with the bee-bees and learning their personalities. As it should be.

  18. LOL! :-) I'm loving the name suggestions ..."as it should be" :-)

    Wilson! too cute!

  19. Oh, yes, the Precious Picketts. What a charming family portrait.

Please believe me, I've done my utmost to stay away from suggesting names, but I'm begging for one of these darlings to be named Wilson. Begging!

  23. One of them must be named Wilson—for Wilson Pickett, "The Wicked Pickett."

  24. (delurking)

We are already calling the little orange guy "Rufus Pickett" at our house. Think they could all have noble Roman names?
