The kitties spent a lot of time hanging out on, or near my dad. They loved using his feet and legs as a jungle gym. They loved napping on him too. Who knew my dad was such a cat magnet? Speaking of magnets, Ms Willamena seems to be stuck to my dad's shoe. ( see video below). That's my mom laughing in the background.
My folks both seemed to really enjoy spending time with the IBKC. A bulk of their vacation was spent watching the kittens play. I don't think either of them were bored for a single second. I would even go as far to say that they were completely infatuated with the kitties. In the car, on the way to the airport this morning Mom asked Dad if he remembered to say goodbye to the kitties. Of course he said yes. They are well on their way to becoming "cat people". Maybe my next visit home, I'll bring them a kitten.
Oh how DEAR! Lots of us remember waltzing with our daddies just the way Willamena is waltzing with your Da. Every day I think "Could they possibly be any cuter?" and in spite of doubting it, there you are. (I'm saving up for cards and books with IBKC babies, you know- just sayin')
ReplyDeleteCUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE! Did Willamena try harder than the others to convert your parents, or does it just look that way from the coverage on your blog? It's like she knew what her task was, and tried her hardest to win them over.

ReplyDeleteAcacia, Willamena did spend a lot of time sitting on their feet and laps. Lottie was loving them up too. Actually, they all were doing it. Willamena just seems to sit still a little better than the rest, so her photos tend to be in focus !
AWWWWW that Willamena is CUTE!!! I want to adopt her SO badly. Alas, I'm in the midwest. *sniffsniff*
