My cats eat all-meat kitty food but do enjoy a little salad, provided they are allowed to forage for it themselves in the yard. And my stray kitty, who is not picky, loves a tiny treat of cheese when she can get it. But I agree with Laurie's cats that peas are somehow sinister and best left alone.
FoPohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11867624283576448694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833186746180765380.post-89473775753170373692016-03-09T18:06:39.458-08:002016-03-09T18:06:39.458-08:00My dog licks the peas clean and leaves them in a p...My dog licks the peas clean and leaves them in a pile on her plate Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13579098607405639295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833186746180765380.post-77618417110145100652016-03-09T15:22:04.485-08:002016-03-09T15:22:04.485-08:00Peas are the bane of a kitty's existence. Cats don't need to eat like humans or dogs do. They want meat and fish. I honestly think it's for the bag/can so that the picture on the bag/can "looks" like a balanced meal according to what humans eat instead of a picture of a balanced meal of what a cat should eat (a picture of a bunch of meat). If the plastic ever bothers her, we'll give her stainless steel like the boys have, but so far it hasn't....With so many different kinds of craft paint out there now, I bet it wouldn't be too hard to make dishies with little semi-abstract kitty etc designs on them.

Yes, I say *dishie*. And *mousie* and *boxie*, LOL, and hubby does too at least sometimes. I don't know why the pet food industry keeps putting things like this in the foods they sell; cats aren't going to eat them. You have a perfect example of this with both Charlene and Wylla's preferences. I wish the industry would just stop pushing the vegetables and just sell the food that cats really need.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09268304194276808749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6833186746180765380.post-64709654135391534802016-03-09T11:57:51.212-08:002016-03-09T11:57:51.212-08:00So funny, I had an old girl cat that did that too....So funny, I had an old girl cat that did that too.
