Let's Raise Squillions and Fill Bellies

That's our girl!

Last year,  the Humane Society started up a new program.   It's basically a meals-on-wheels for cats, designed specifically to help elderly pet owners on fixed incomes, who are having a difficult time affording the cost of feeding their precious pets.

Many of these low-income senior citizens don't have transportation, and this delivery program brings pet food and supplies to their doorstep.

It's such a valuable program because it helps keep cats in their loving homes where they belong, and out of the shelter.

Today's donations will help fund this program!

Today's donations will also help fill the shelves of the Emergency Pet Food Bank at the Humane Society.  The Food Bank supplies pet food to those who are in temporary need of dog or cat food.  Like the program for Seniors, it helps keep pets where they belong - with their families.

So, any amount you give until Midnight tonight, will help keep people and their pets together!  How wonderful is that??!!

But wait, it gets better.

Our dear, dear friend Cynthia is back and she's offering up another wonderful matching donation challenge.  Every dollar you donate today, she will match, until we hit the $3000 cap!  The challenge will run until 7:00 PM tonight (Pacific Time).

This is one of those days that will really make a difference, so please consider making a donation today.

Thank you so much, dearest Cynthia, for offering up this awesome match.   And thanks in advance to all of those who take advantage of it.

Thank you so much!!

  1. I love the thought of a van with Bean's picture on it delivering yummy food right to some cats' front steps. Thank you Cynthia for your generous donation!

  2. I think it's nice that Charlene allowed the shelter to put other animals' photos on the van also. Cats can be so selfish sometimes, but it is obvious that Charlene isn't like that.
