The Floofiest Friday EVER

You know how sometimes when we get an extra, extra adorable kitten I'll give you a little warning so you have a moment to grab your smelling salts, take a seat, put your calls on hold, pull your car over to the side of the road, or step into a room where it's safe to SQUEEE?

Well friends, it's one of those moments.

So PLEASE take any or all of those precautionary measures because I have someone you REALLY need to meet.

Her name is Wylla Stout.

And...

here...

she....

is.

Now aren't you glad I warned you?

Is everyone OK?

Do I need to dial 911 for anyone?

PS...
I know we still have to wrap things up with our little Tiptons - we'll have our next departure tale on Monday.   I couldn't wait a single second longer to share this girl with you because I  knew you all would be so very excited to see her!

    1. I suspect that if you gave Miss Wylla Stout a bath, you'd find that her body is only about 1/4 of the size the floof makes it appear to be. What an adorable little girl! I can hardly wait to meet her siblings...

  10. Oh, Laurie, the warning was warranted!! Fortunately I took your advice, but only after two cups of tea, four pizzelles and a good snort of smelling salts have I recovered. She out-floofs even our beloved Bean!!

  11. I have a grown up version sitting next to me. Oh my, thank you for showing me what she would have looked like as a kitten. (I rescued her three years ago from Purrfect Pals.) I do hope this precious kitten gets a really good home. After all, she a Princess.

    1. I think she's a Traditional Persian. She has the flat face, but not extreme like you see in cat shows. She's much too floofy to be a Maine Coon in my opinion and her ears, are short and her body is very thick. Maine Coons tend to look more like Domestic Longhairs but oversized with extra ear fluff. My adult orange tabby is Persian, and was also a rescue. She looks very similar to my cat in fluff and physical features.

    OMG!

I had to cover my mouth so I didn't yell out loud over Wylla.

She would win a baby floof award, easy.

    P.S. I still love Royal.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Holy monkies, Wylla! You're adorable! And I'm thinking it's a good thing Laurie didn't show us your little baby kitten tail, too, because who knows how many 911 calls would have been needed!

    ReplyDelete
  50. The IBKC is now a squillion percent more floofy! I didn't think that was possible!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Wow! I showed an office mate and she wants to know if that's really a cat or if it's an "Owl-Cat..."
Which ever you are, Wylla, you are super lucky because the queen of floof can be your floof-taming mentor! I can't wait to see how Charlene Butterbean reacts to this ball of fur!

Well, I've been here to look at Wylla four times, so the least I can do is comment. I keep coming back to scritch those little fluffy cheeks with my cursor. I'm sure she can feel it!

    ReplyDelete
  68. She makes me think of Orson Davenport. When I saw his introduction photo I commented that he was a thug.
    She's a bit of a thugette.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Oh, Wylla Stout, you are too much. Those floofy, chubby little legs. That adorable peach-colored nose. And is that a floofy white belly to go with your tiny white toes?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Oh. My. Gosh. I inhaled a gasp and exhaled a shriek. Did something of a double take, just to be sure there was a kitten in there! Hopefully in the coming weeks we'll get a profile photo - I'm sure her darling little nose nub is fabulous!

    ReplyDelete
  79. OH -what a cute little face!

    ReplyDelete
  80. she is sooo sooo adorable. Soo much puff too. sqeeeeeee

    ReplyDelete
  81. Sigh. Florida is too far away. She is adorable. I would love to have her but too far away and butterball princess Ellie would be very upset. Sigh

    ReplyDelete
  82. I have to admit, I was skeptical after I read your warning. Ha, just another pretty kitten, my silly self shrugged. Hands up, she is beyond gorgeous. I'm speechless and envious of the lucky person/family who would adopt this super pretty cute girl :) I second a previous reader who asked for a contact to be signed by her future family for more pictures of her. We need to see more of her.

    ReplyDelete
  83. What a precious puffball! WANT.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I believe whoever adopts this floofiest of floofy kittehs will have a life full of "did she really just do that?" and "Kitty, no, get down from there" and "what was I thnking?" - all things I myself say with the addition to my house of my foster failure tortie Carrie. Every day laughter, annoyance, laughter, love and snuggles.

Better start Ms Bean on an anti-hairball regime - bathing this one will be a mouthful.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Even my floofy maine coon has floof-envy

    ReplyDelete
  86. OMG! She is GORGEOUS

    ReplyDelete
  87. Her face reminds me of one of the dwarves from 'The Hobbit'. I look forward to meeting the rest of her siblings.

    ReplyDelete
  88. My tortie with tude passed away 2 weeks ago at the ripe old age of 16. I sure do miss her and her crazy antics.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Seeing this post, with everything that happened between the IBKC community meeting Ms. Wylla for the first time and now, when she is your beloved, adopted girl, is so sweet. Who even knew, when this was posted, what would come? She was meant to find her way to you.

    1. It is funny how it all played out. One of the greatest things ever came out of something pretty horrible. There were many "what have we gotten ourselves into" moments at first, but the rewards outweigh any inconveniences. We're lucky.
