Prince Charles

I stepped out of the house yesterday and discovered a box sitting on my front porch.  It was from our friend, Anne Boleyn.

Inside the box were two glorious tiaras, both hand-crafted by Anne.  There was one human-sized tiara for me.

And a tiny one for Bean's bean.   I tried to get her to model it, but it just wasn't happening today.  Prince Charles was happy to try it on.   Doesn't he look regal in it?

Thank you Anne for these precious gifts.  You're one crafty lady and a very dear friend.

  18. As those are complete circles with uprights they are actually crowns,MUCH posher than a mere tiara.

    1. Point taken, but it actually, it depends on which definition you read as to whether or not these are tiaras. I call them tiaras simply because I like the word "tiara" better than I like the word "crown". But I love that you find them posh.

    2. By custom a tiara is not the full circle but a lesser crown such for a Duke or other Peer or Peeress may also be called a coronet

    3. Thank you. I stand corrected, and when I make them for men I do call them coronets.

  19. Meowm adores those tiaras! She wouldn't mind having one of those herself, and she isn't usually a tiara girl!
